Department of Mines and Natural Resources has operated the NQ Survey Team from the Buchan Street Depot for more than 50 years. The existing facility was aged and no longer compliant with current safety requirements. Richard Field Constructions (RFC) was employed to demolish existing building and construct new earth bearing pads, low level screw pile foundation systems and a new 12m high tilt up building. Ample on site car parking is afforded and this is an enviable industrial facility to the street appearance with excellent crossflow ventilation and Big Ass High-Level Fans for cooling of occupants inside.
